My mate Anton was telling me about the porn channels over in Amsterdam. I know many people out there indulge in all kinds of fetishists and quaint’s; comprising from wearing adult nappies to the out-dated fireman outfit, with the three yellow velcro straps at the side to just being a boring voyeur. Anton: Hoi, middag. I've recently received a digital cable box, so I can watch satellite UK TV and am therefore sharing my first week's experience with you. An important acquision in any cable provider is the number of free porn channels that they provide. It's all well and good having a provider which gives you premiership football on a Saturday afternoon. But by and large all providers now do that. So how to make a decision? As most of the ex-pats are men and cable is aimed more at the male market, (I've done the research) it quickly boils down to the number and quality of the porn channels. Not being an expert like Marvin, who could tell you every movie that Ron Jeremy was in (if you don't know who Ron Jeremy is, that is very sad 30 something’s) I look for quality rather than quantity and opted for UPC over Acatel. With upc, I receive 11 adult channels, but only four of them run until 6:30 in the morning. If you're used to the SKY Adult channels, including Red Hot, The Call-girls etc.... then you will be familiar with some of the females expressing their love for men folk. I've noticed that Wednesday's are the best nights during the week, with more group and role playing, if that's your cup of tea. The weekends offer a variety of shows ranging from new talent, actor-next-door type to those, where you're trying to remember the moves. The adverts are of a high standard, but many of the 0900 numbers are Dutch and if you cannot dialogue over getting you're groove on, then it's just not worth it. I have been impressed by the presenters who speak both fluent Dutch and English and on channel 407, after 3am there are some shows in French for those looking to learn their French language skills. If you are not too fussy about what you watch then on Tuesday after midnight on channel 409, they have this rough bird on there, hosting from what I can understand some kind of game show. I've yet to watch until the end, so I cannot tell you what the weekly jackpot is. The main difference I have noticed between the English porn and Dutch is that with the UK channels, the first bit of action normally occurs around 4:27, where as the Dutch is 7:20. However the quality of productional and acting skills are on a par with classics like 'Emmanuel meets the Ninja and Highway 65. You pays you euros you take you pick..... doi.
