Iraq - was it all a dream?

Iraq - was it all a dream?

Do we still have a war going on in Iraq? So little is heard of what is happening out there it could be forgiven that it's only a matter of time before McDonald's open's it's first 24-hr Drive-through in Baghdad High Street. I cannot actually recall the last time I saw a news report which depicted any fighting, bombing or scenes of mortal attack, that constituted a war. Have they even found the weapons they were looking for? I know it must be me, as I'm a bit dumb, however I was under the impression the war was deemed ILLEGAL years ago. The only occasions, news is heard from the Iraq war zone is when there is a friendly fire incident involving the US and British troops. Or when a U.S. helicopter crashes in a field, under no enemy attack. Even the recent attack by the Blackwater Security firm, whereby they opened fire on an unarmed group of middle aged men and women, young children going to school, rose more attention and warranted more news space than the merciless killings that week of 286 innocent Iraqi women caught up in a 'so called' war, while bringing home groceries or attending the washing in the back garden. It now looks as though we may need prepare for invasion XXIII the attack into IRAN, scheduled for 2008. The game plan is the same as all the others, media assasination of IRAN's prominent and influential politicians and then the US/UK will explain that these savages have no democracy and they need the help of the coalition force to restore the good things of the west.
